Terms & Policy
This page explains how ArtistBots may be used, what we expect from you as a developer or bot builder, and what you can expect from us in return. It's written in plain language on purpose — please read it fully before generating an API key.
Not affiliated with YouTube or Spotify
ArtistBots is an independent, third-party service built by developers, for developers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with YouTube, Google LLC, or Spotify, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The names "YouTube" and "Spotify," along with their respective logos and related trademarks, remain the sole property of their respective owners. Any reference to these platforms on this site is purely descriptive, to explain what our API connects to.
Acceptable use
You agree to use ArtistBots, and any API key issued to you, only for lawful purposes and strictly in accordance with YouTube's Terms of Service, Spotify's Terms of Service, and all applicable copyright and intellectual-property law in your jurisdiction. You are solely and fully responsible for the content you search, download, cache, or redistribute using this API — ArtistBots is a technical tool, not a publisher, and does not review or endorse the media that passes through it.
In particular, you agree not to use ArtistBots to mass-download copyrighted content for resale or piracy, to build services that misrepresent themselves as official YouTube or Spotify products, or to circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts or automated key generation.
API keys & account responsibility
Each API key is personal to your account and tied to the Google identity you signed in with. Do not share, sell, publish, or hardcode your key into a public repository or client-side app — treat it the same way you'd treat a password. If your key is exposed, revoke and regenerate it immediately from your Dashboard.
ArtistBots reserves the right to suspend, rate-limit, or permanently revoke any key used for abusive, excessive, automated, or unlawful traffic, without prior notice, in order to keep the service fast and fair for everyone else building on it.
Billing, wallet & plans
ArtistBots runs on a simple prepaid wallet — no recurring subscription and no card kept on file. You add money via UPI, cards, or netbanking (all handled securely by Razorpay), then activate a plan of your choice; that plan is what sets your daily request limit, per-minute rate limit, and how many days it stays valid. When a plan runs out of days or requests, nothing renews automatically — you simply top up and pick the next one whenever you're ready.
Wallet top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law, since your key can start drawing against a plan the moment it's activated. If a payment fails, gets stuck, or is charged twice on your end, message us on Telegram with the transaction details and we'll fix the wallet balance directly.
Subscription cancellation & refunds
You can cancel your active plan at any time by messaging us on Telegram with your account email — cancelling stops the plan from being used further, but it does not undo the top-up that funded it.
Refunds are not available. Once a plan is activated on a key, that amount is considered used and cannot be refunded to your wallet or original payment method, whether you cancel early, use only part of your daily limit, or decide not to continue. Please review a plan's limits and pricing carefully before subscribing.
Fair use & rate limits
Signing in, browsing the docs, and generating your API key don't cost you anything — the wallet is only touched once you start making requests under an active plan. Even so, all traffic is watched for volume and pattern so the service stays fast and fair for every developer on it. Reasonable personal and small-bot usage within your plan's limits is always welcome. If your project expects heavy, sustained traffic beyond what a standard plan offers, reach out first so we can make sure the service can support it without slowing things down for everyone else.
No warranty
ArtistBots is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Availability, response times, and supported features depend on third-party platforms outside our control and may change or break without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this service.
Changes to these terms
We may update this policy from time to time as the service evolves. Continued use of ArtistBots after changes are published means you accept the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically if you run a production integration.
